Description
Honey bees play an important role in pollinating flowers, fruits and vegetables and in the process they also
produce honey! All honey bees are social and cooperative insects and the colonies where they live and
produce the honey has a highly developed system in place. Every colony consists of three different types
of bees: a queen, the workers and the drones. Each of these bee types have very distinct functions within
the colony.
