ABCs of the Indy 500 – Print Edition



The Indy 500, also known as the Indianapolis 500, is a racing event that happens every year on the Sunday before Memorial Day. Known as “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing,” the race takes place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana. The first 500-mile race took place over a hundred years ago in 1911. Over the race’s long history, many traditions have developed and they have become an important and fun part of the event, making it much more than just an exciting race.

Our ABC guides are copywork portfolios that allow students to practice their handwriting while learning. Students will learn key facts from A to Z. Also included are several puzzles (with answer keys) and coloring sheets.
