Exploring Tennessee: A Hands-On Activity Guide for the Volunteer State

Description

Exploring Tennessee: A Hands-On Activity Guide for the Volunteer State is a student book created for the classroom, homeschool or roadschool use when studying the United States. This supplement is aligned with the ABC workbook created by Road Trip Teacher for this state; however, it is designed to be used as a stand-alone product as well. It includes a cover page for the project that allows the student to draw, color, and add their own customization to the cover. Each activity is separated by a subsection page so this guide can easily be broken apart in three different lesson plans. I created this product in full color because of the picture tutorials. Even though printing in color is not always conducive to the project, I have found it more engaging to my kids in the learning phase.

Each of the three (3) parts of this hands-on guide include a directive for the planning stage of the activity with a supply list. A step-by-step guide is also illustrated by pictures to help younger kids visualize the process while giving older kids a guide to work independently. Each activity has both a color and grayscale version of the binder pages.

This download includes:

Hands-on Activity Guide with three individual exploration lessons – 45 Pages
Grayscale Binder Pages – 20 Pages

Designed for ages K-6, can be adapted to any age.

TIP: If you prefer to use a composition notebook rather than a binder, print the pages at 78% and they will fit perfectly into your notebook!
